What to expect;A reflexology session is typically conducted in either a semi-reclined or fully-reclined position (adjustments can be made for those with special needs or circumstances). All reflexology sessions are received fully clothed, with only shoes and socks removed for access to the feet and the lower leg, hands and sometimes the ears, unless incorporated with a massage treatment.
Your reflexology session will begin with you filling out an intake form. Then you will be allowed time to remove your socks/shoes and get onto the table and get comfortable. Next your therapist will place hot towels on your feet to warm them and prepare for treatment. While you relax; your needs and the outcome you are hoping to achieve with the session will be discussed. Then the reflexology treatment that fits you will be recommended, which will be; relaxation, therapeutic or a combination of the two. Your reflexologist will then proceed with the reflexology treatment by gently stimulating specific reflex points to help align and balance your body and mind. When the foot treatment is finished, a custom oil blend will be applied to your feet. |
